Hi Benjamin Paul - USA, The cost being pulled is the location average cost. This can be seen under Purchasing/Inventory subtab > Locations sublists > Average Cost Column. You can test it by creating a new negative adjustment on an item. I hope this clarifies your concern.

Hi Benjamin Paul - USA, Please note that this is a standard behavior. Unlike positive adjustments, Est. Unit Cost field is not editable (greyed out) when doing negative adjustments. NetSuite will identify the cost of the quantity being deducted based on the item's costing method and automatically populate this field.…
