Please could you log an SR with the details of your code (for example) is it's stopped working after an upgrade. The SOAP web services have introduced the ability to get a sessionID by using an access token as an Authorization header to the login SOAP service but I assume you're using a name/pwd to get a session ID?

It is possible to import a snapshot that is on object storage (created using the API) into the OAC Snapshot UI - see details here: https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/analytics-cloud/acabi/export-and-import-snapshots.html#GUID-3F57E1E4-BFF9-4383-8999-32377E3F5B4F

This blog may be useful to you, if the API calls are scheduled : https://blogs.oracle.com/analytics/post/oac-migration-automation

On point 2, it is possible to hide the Exclude / Nulls option by creating a parameter for the column you wish to filter, then using that parameter in the filter control (e.g. Dashboard Filters). This also works for embedded content. (Thanks to Avinash for this suggestion)

Thank you for logging this idea for Oracle Analytics.

Hi Karthick, thanks for logging this idea. I know we have spoken about this in the past but could you give some examples of the types of interaction you'd like to trigger the data action please? On page load? On filter change? Thanks Mike

Thanks for your post, I note that your screenshots are of Qlik, however this is the Oracle Analytics channel, is there a relationship between how you are using Qlik and Oracle Analytics? I note your profile has 'Orion GCS', which I'm not familiar with, but perhaps your post belongs in that community.

Typically it will be the canvas that was being viewed when the workbook was saved as you've experienced. Also, please see this documentation reference for how to share a workbook URL with a specific canvas selected.

Could your authentication provider be blocking the login screen appearing in the iFrame? This is quite common.

Apologies, I have been on extended leave and I'm just back this week. I'd like to confirm that we are aware, from previous discussions of the requirement for APIs on OAS.

Thanks for logging this requirement that will be evaluated.

March is rolling out soon but you should see the option to open in new tab in January. I'm not sure why you don't see it. However, as mentioned earlier, you can manually create the form of the URL with the project.jsp. Something like this:…

What version are you on @Marcelo Finkielsztein ? See link to a tutorial below so if the version you are on supports this feature then you can create the URL with project.jsp manually. You won't see parameters on the URL when you open the workbook, you have to add those. This tutorial may also help:…

Try this - navigate to the OAC console and choose the option 'Content'. Click on the filter icon (top left) and here you can select 'workbook' and also enter the username you'd like to search on in the 'Owner' field.

Please see if this describes what you need: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQQewy9SB2c (passing a value on a DV workbook URL to a parameter than can be mapped to a filter on the canvas)

If you want to filter based on user level data security, please consider row level security configured via a semantic layer (https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/analytics-cloud/acmdg/work-row-level-security.html) so when a user logs in, they only see the data they are entitled to see. Don't use the filters available when…

Michal - could you contact me direct on email please to discuss - do you also have an SR logged? Thanks Mike
