As you have mentioned, it is not easy to get out of because both Subject Areas - HCM Learning (for course completion) and HCM Workforce (for headcount) have no connection with each other. You might need to consider BIP datasets and see if it can get you what you need.

I do not think you are going to get a simple answer for your customer for the question. There was another Forum Post which has lots of conversation around retention, hope it can give you some pointers. I do not think you can directly join Sales – CRM Interactions Real Time with Receivables – Transactions Real Time. Each subject area pulls from separate transactional schemas within Fusion (Sales Cloud vs. Financials Cloud), and OTBI doesn’t have a shared join key across them (like Opportunity ID to AR Invoice ID).
