Bulk deleting Unused datasets/datasources with admin privileges
Organization Name (Required - If you are an Oracle Partner, please provide the organization you are logging the idea on behalf of):
ORACLE (BMCDW)
Description (Required):
We have noticed using ( Data Governance Plugin) that there are total 1000+ unused Datasets. We are planing to delete/remove these unused datasets. (Using Service Account)
Manually deleting these many datasets will not be feasible and efficient. Currently, we do not have a way using which we can delete these unused datasets at once. Can we have a way to bulk delete the datasets using service account with admin privileges.
Use Case and Business Need (Required):
We are not able to bulk delete the unused datasets in Horizon OAC. Manually deleting these many datasets one by one will not be feasible and efficient

I think, this is another "use-case", which should be part of of long promised API for DV (which is, unfortunatelly still not available)- this API should allow you:
1) To identify data sets not used/referenced in any other "objects" (workbooks, data flows, analyses etc...)
2) To delete those identified data sets

Thanks for sharing the doc, We use this feature when any user is no more with Oracle, then we transfer the ownership. We cannot own every thing and manually owning and deleting these many datasets will not be feasible and efficient.
