Can OBIEE 12C be connected to 2 Essbase cubes?

Looking at options for displaying data from Essbase.

Can OBIEE 12C be connected to 2 Essbase cubes (the data needs to be displayed on a single dashboard)? 
Do the 2 Essbase cubes require same number of dimensions (if data needs to be displayed on a single dashboard)?

    1,2 or 50 cubes doesn't really make a difference. It's like all sources just about RPD modelling. Just have a look at SampleApp and the connected sources - multiple Essbase cubes all over the place:

    As for your second question: No not at all. Just like with relational sources the dimensionalities can be completely heterogeneous and still work perfectly if you configure the LTS content levels correctly.
