AD (LDAP) configuration

Description (Required):
From our AD (LDAP) configuration on Siebel product, we can set AD (LDAP) host name by using the domain name, e.g. ad.ontariohealth.ca (not the AD server name), without any issue which is happened in OBIEE.
The issue on OBEE is that sometimes the login to OBIEE UI is unavailable due to the current LDAP server of AD domain is not accessible. Currently there are 10 AD LDAP servers associated with the AD domain. Only 4 of them are accessible for our OBIEE/Siebel servers.
Siebel has no issue with AD domain host name. But OBIEE has the issue.
Use Case and Business Need (Required):
We are currently in the process to migrate the AD to our new AD domain.
Enhancement Request / Service Request:
OBIEE to have same LDAP functions like in Siebel app.
