OBIEE 11g/12c - Passing parameters to a OBIEE session

Hi,
Anyone know is there a parameter(s) that can be used to pass a value into an OBIEE session from a third party application? I need an additional parameter to set a content language for OBIEE reports from an integrated application.
An good example of this is the &Lang parameter (which I'm using ) which you can set to a locale value and once logged in changes the language of the UI - if only there was a &Lang2 :-)
