Apply Rank in PIVOT Table

Hi,
Can I apply rank for a particular fact by a dimension in the pivot table.
For example I have a fact column called as 'SALES'
and I have 'Emp_code' and 'Item_type' as dimensions
I want to create a pivot table and need is o apply rank on the sales column which is pivoted by 'item_type'
Regards....

Hi,
Yes, you can ...
Did you try it?
What is the issue you get with it? What did you try exactly? (screenshots are worth more than hundreds of words)

Agreed, yes you can ... the RANK(REVENUE) was built in the criteria tab

how can u apply sorting on the rank
and keep rank as dimension like product here.
and keep product as a pivot dimension(like product type) here.0 -
Firstly: Rank(any fact) is not a dimension ...
Notice I did the rank of revenue by the sales rep type ... so the total revenue across all rep types produces the ranking for the product types. Then I just moved that fact column tot eh row beside the product type dimensional attribute in the pivot table.
