OBIEE 10g Navigation not working from chart if legend text too long
Hello All,
In OBIEE 10g, We are creating vertical bar chart and providing navigation report from it.
However, when clicked on legend text to go to detail report, and if this legend text length is more than 64 characters, navigation is not working. When clicked on legend hyperlink, only 'Error on Page' message appears on left down side of browser window, no action taken, no any error log created.
Same is applicable to x-axis label of chart or combination of x-axis label and legend.
If clicked on any bar whose respective x-axis label and legend is greater than 64 characters, not able to navigate to detail report.
Is this known behavior of OBIEE 10g? Any config parameter value need to changed for same? or any workaround available for it?

Customization on Charts !! I would say go with how it works.

Hi Srini,
When you say 'Customization on Graph', does that means we will have to make changes in pcxml file?
Could you please provide further details on it, or what properties we will have to set?

I would say effort is more complex for this small requirement and waste of time to work on.

Has any one else faced same issue while working on OBIEE 10g, and applied any solution for it?
