Hi all,

I just started playing with this tool and see some potential use. However I was unable to find any reference as to data requirement to create a 'Tree disgram' or 'Timeline' style visualization. Can someone please point me to right place?

Data source is either DB or excel data, but once i know the format, I can generate it as needed.

In its most basic form I don't believe that a Timeline needs anything more than a Date and a measure.  A tree just needs a category and (ideally) a sub-category.  You can easily create these from the sample order lines spreadsheets you get with DV.

Drag say "ship date" and "sales #" and create a timeline and you'll see.
