BI Publisher - XMLP_SCHED_JOB - STATUS
Summary
BI Publisher - XMLP_SCHED_JOB - STATUS
Content
Hi
In XMPL_SCHED_JOB table you can find details on scheduled jobs. Status field should represent the status.
After cloning an environment from another environment we would like to stop all scheduled reports before starting the environment.
However if we set status to P via SQL on the database, reports are still being created.
Do we need an extra action?

Hi,
Can you please elaborate on 'After cloning an environment from another environment' ? Do you trying to move catalog objects from one instance to another instance ( For Ex : Dev to Test).
OR
Do you trying to upgrade your BIP application from older version to newer version (For Ex : BIP 10g to 11g OR BIP 11g to 12c etc..)
.
I think you have to stop scheduling of jobs from BIP UI and not from Scheduler tables.

Hi Venkat
Cloning means a copying an instance to replace another instance.
If we start the application to use BIP UI, the scheduling is already triggering reports which are sent.
