Hello:

In Bi-Publisher 11g:

I have a simple query as the data model.  It returns rows of data.

The Excel Template I use as the report vehicle is also simple:  It has a header, a date, and at row 4, I insert XDO commands that match the field names of the query.

For example:

A4 cell name is XDO_?PROFILE_CLASS?

B4 cell name is XDO_?COLLECTOR?

and so on.  (See attached template)

Each new row of the query (data model), instead of creating a new row in Excel, just lumps it in with the previous data, so I get multiple rows of data jammed into one cell.

I have written many Excel templates of this type, and never had an issue.

Please see the output and you can see what I mean.

I cannot see any group in your excel template?

Please create group to repeat the row for XML group, it should work after that
