Briefing Book don't refresh data before printing it

Summary
Briefing Book don't refresh data before printing it
Content
Hi,
We have an Apex Application where we do data entry and our BICS reports are directly connected to the underlying tables.
When we run the Briefing Book which Updatable option It shows the old data in the reports printed in Briefing Book PDF's.
We tried clearing the cache at DB level and also at the BI server level by calling SA purge Utility, Seeems like cache is getting cleared but data is not updated onto dashboard untill we click on manual Refresh of Analysis or Pages.
Expectation from Briefing book is to refresh the pages with the correct data instead of hitting cache and also to show the updated data.
Anyone has any workaround or right direction to start with?.
Regards,
Veeresh

Uhhhh,
I am not so happy with how Oracle treats Briefing Books. It really is outdated if you ask me.
I logged a serious bug with Snapshot Briefing Books a year ago and it is solved >15 months after the bug was reported.
Maybe there is another bug.
But..
It seems that you expect to bypass cache every time you use the briefing Book. Are you sure your source Analysis for the Briefing Book does not hit the cache?Check the sessions first and see whether the Briefing Book triggers a cache hit or actually fires a query in a new cursor.
