Hello

       We deploy automatically Oracle BI Publisher (11.1.1.7 ) reports (developed and validated on DEV environment) to PROD in repository ( directory ../domains/bifoundation_domain/config/bipublisher/repository/Reports), A Security model is  "BI Publisher Security.

We use for deploying a script sh : Tar zipped report + cp -r to repository + change permission to the right user.

At this step, the new deployed reports are not visible in BI Publisher interface. We can’t stop and restart BI Publisher ( PROD environnent)

We have a workaround to fix this issue ( I attach a screen details for this ) :

• We connect to BI Publisher interface and click on Catalog

• We select a directory (contain a new deployed report)

• We click on Permission and check a box “Apply permissions to items within this folder “ and validate

After this, we can see a report in BI Publisher interface

Can you tell me please if there are another solution to automatically Refresh.

In BI Publisher 10, we use this method to copy reports and we click after on button “Refresh METADATA” on BI Publisher interface in Administration Page, the ‘Refresh METADATA does not exists in BI Publisher 11
