Summary
Failed to save the connection. Internal server error when trying to create new Database connection in VA
Content
Hello all, What we have: Oracle Business Intelligence 12.2.1.2.0 x64 with localy installed database for metadata repository (Oracle Datase 12R2), both of then running on one machine. OS - Oracle LInux 6.9 Core database are running on separate machine,Oracle database - 11gR2.
We afe facing issue when trying to create a new database connection (as remote datasource) in VA.
The error message -
" Failed to save the connection. Internal server error when trying to create new Database connection in VA ".
After investigating the error log files, we gind one item related to our issue:
" Failed to create connection. : Internal Server Error - {"code":500101,"message":"JDS - Internal Server error","subMessage":"oracle.bi.datasource.exceptions.DatasourceException: An exception was occurred during request processing, please check logs for more deatils : Failed loading the jdbc driver oracle.bi.jdbc.AnaJdbcDriver\nCause: An error was thrown from datasource : Could not load JDBC driver oracle.bi.jdbc.AnaJdbcDriver\nAction: Consult the log file and contact Oracle Support"} "
Where can i find those drivers? I though that those driver should be available from the box.
I couldn't find any articles related to this issue. I find the article related to VA connection issue with SQL server and Terradata, but no any info about issue with connection to the Oracle Database.
Does anybody have expirience with the same issue?
I would be very grateful for any advices and suggestions.
Thanks in advance!
