Did you delete all the files, including those in your C:\Users\<your username>\AppData ?
Because DVD put lot of things in that folder (in 2 subfolders) and uninstalling is often just the binaries but not all the settings and data of the application.

Now it's not doing anything. No message, no output file.
C:\Oracle_DVD>diagnostic_dump.cmd zz_output.zip
C:\Oracle_DVD>

Don't test me )). I need to do a project and I'm locked in this stupid issue.
Strange that after uninstall, AppData delete, registry search and delete, when I try to create a data set and click on file -> same path is present -> the one used on my very first data set create.
Information is stored in some other part as DVD is knowing that path.

I found it in few places inside /AppData/ but that was it. (But there it was in 3-4 places at least)
So uninstalling, deleting any folder there around related to it, cleanup the disk to delete temp files etc and a reboot must be clean enough ...
: what about a VM? At least you can keep working waiting to find out why ...
(you will be able to get in touch with the people internally in charge of it who could help you fix your main install and once done export the project from the VM and load it there)

Very strange. Now it's working. If I go directly to create data set, double click on the csv -> DVD shuts down. Not uninstall but open again and do the same action it worked.
Problem is not solved but at least it's working with this work around.

Try pinging Adam and the team internally to see if they want you to run some diagnostic or collect some logs on that.

As suggested in the very first response to your post: re-install

Stupid thing, I know, but how about installing into a path without blank spaces?
It's Windows after all...
