Hi.,

 

When I try to create OBIEE connection in Oracle DVD tool getting "Failed to Save"  error.

 

OBIEE version is 12.2.1.3.0 and DVD tool version is 12.2.4.3.0-20180329113220

 

can someone help me to resolve this.

Hello Rajagopal.

No additional details on the error is displayed? Just that message "Failed to Save".

Nothing like the example in picture when I tried to include an OBIEE server with a wrong url on my Oracle DV.

Got only "Failed to Save" message and got the below log in obis1-diagnostic-0.log file

"called with token 2015-09-24T11:17:41.654-05:00 : False"

in Jetty.log file 

"[JDSError : 43] Invalid connection/authentication details, Failed creating a data source connection"

It can be different possibilities.

Check these.

1. User and password you are providing are not correct.
