Single BI Publisher Report with multiple CSV outputs
Summary
Is it possible to create a single BI Publisher Report that will generate multiple CSV outputs based on multiple data sets?
Content
I want to create a single report ("Customer Information") that contains three separate CSV outputs:
- Customer Data
- Customer Address Data
- Customer Contacts Data
The above-mentioned CSV outputs will be based on three separate Data Sets (G_1, G_2, G_3). Is this possible?
I've read that its possible to create a single Excel File, with multiple sheets (https://blogs.oracle.com/xmlpublisher/multi-sheet-excel-output), but i would need it to be in a CSV file because this data will be interfaced to a downstream system.
Any advise?
Thank you!

Hello Juan Miguel
Is this the same as - https://community.oracle.com/message/14885807#14885807 ?
If so, you'd need to enable the CSV output option - https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/12213/bip/BIPRD/GUID-BBB60FD1-06A8-42BA-BD41-B351BD0B4816.htm. The document lists out how to enable this and what the limitations are.

Hi, yes, that's also my post.
I've already enabled the CSV output and Create three separate data sets under the same Data Model and 3 separate layouts.
but the problem is, when I receive the report, it shows the 3 CSV attachments but each CSV contains the same thing: all the columns from all the layouts.
For now, I've just created 3 separate data models and 3 separate layouts and it worked.
But I'm still wondering if this approach is possible.

Hi Juan.
Once you set to export the Data (csv) it includes the whole datasource content.
I believe you will need to create outputs as E-TXT formatting as CSV on each dataset.
Check this Blog for some options or google BI Publisher E-TXT
Hope this helps.
Cheers.
Fernando
