When you say "Analytics Cloud report from Data Virtualization desktop to Mobile App" - what do you mean by that? That's 3 different technologies / products - potentially more.
OAC = Oracle Analytics Cloud
DVD = Data Vi*S*ualization Desktop - a *desktop* visualzation tool. Not virtualization
"Mobile App" - do you mean the mobile apps for Oracle Business Intelligence which exist for Android and iOS? Or do you mean "Oracle Day by Day"?
Your question is very unprecise

Thanks Chris for the prompt response.
I am talking about Oracle Analytics Cloud.
Mobile App I mean Oracle Day by Day
Question1: Can we develop analytics report for OAC in Data visualization tool? If no, then which tool can be used?
Question2: After developing the report, how can we deploy into Mobile App?
Highly appreciate your help.
Thanks
Ashish

Ok some more terminology clarifications:
- OAC produces "Analyses"
- "Reports" are produced by BI Publisher which is included in OAC since 17.4.5. But "reports" and "analyses are two totally different objects created by two different toosl and technologies. Analyses are dynamic analytical analyses while reports are pixel-perfect, mostly static, reports for printing or PDF output for example.
- Data Visualization produces "Projects"
Day By Day connects to any OBI or OAC server:

So Day By Day shows whatever is in that connected server for your user. There is no "copy things over". It's just a different window through which you look at your content. OAC, on-premises or Day By day - it's transparent.

Thank Chris for sharing this valuable information. I just want to know how can I deploy analysis on OAC server or is there some tool other than Data Visualization Desktop, that can be used to create and deploy OAC analysis.
Thanks
Ashish

Did you try OAC itself? It comes with a full interface to develop analysis in 2 ways: either the old OBIEE Answer interface or the new Data Visualization interface which is just like DVD.
So what else do you look for better than OAC itself to develop content there directly? No need to deploy it, it's already on the server.

I am still having a hard time to understand what you are trying to do or even asking for. Why would you want to use a *desktop* tool to create something that's then deployed on a cloud solution?
Maybe you should first understand the different products, what they do and how they work and then you think about how you go about doing things. Oracle Sales would of course be happy to sell anything and everything to you but for your sake it would be good if you first knew what you wanted.

That's what I tried to point out above.

Ashish did you give up on this thread or did you go into OAC and see that the analyses are created there directly?

Hi Chris
I am still exploring OAC. Today, I am able to create a very basic analysis on OAC instance. I saved the same in sharefolders/POC but I am unable to query this analysis on homepage to view the analysis.
I have create analysis with the name " Revenue by product type and department" . Please note that I have use a sample csv file to create this analysis.
Please advise.
Regards,
Ashish

Did you manage to use Data Visualization Desktop? Create a data source (csv based or any other kind), create a project and define some visualizations there inside?
If yes, then just do the same. OAC is like DVD, not really different.
What does "but I'm unable to query this analysis on homepage to view the analysis" mean? You don't query an analysis, you just open it. If you saved it, find it and open it and you see what you saved.
