Oracle Data Visualization for Desktop
Summary
Unable to query Microsoft SQL Server Database
Content
In the Oracle Data Vizualization Desktop for Windows Version 12.2.5.0.0-20180829155113 I have created a connection to Microsoft SQL Server 2016. I had to use the IP address rather than the host name for the connection but now that I have done that the connection seems to see the server and the underlying database tables OK but when I attempt to create a dataset using the connection the query fails with a message "An internal query error occurred. If the issue persists, please contact support." I have attached a word document with a series of screen shots. I cannot work out where I am going wrong.
Thank you.
