Summary

BIP Bursting mechanism does not completely show the data in Output PDF layout when we have two reports in Data Model.

Content

I have a BIP Data Model which has two Data sets and they are of type Oracle BI Analysis
Since I have two reports two groups are created G1 and G2 in the Structure.
When I am adding the bursting query in the split by I can select only 1 split by column either G1's Split by column or G2's split by column.

So if I am select either one of them, the other gets missed in the output PDF.

How can i get the complete output file based on two Oracle BI Analysis. Please suggest.

    Hi

So if my understanding is correct you want to schedule a report and for it to do two different bursts in one run? If so, I'm not sure that this is achievable. Bursting is a mechanism to send data in different ways, perhaps in different formats or to different audiences. It's intended to be run separately. So you create a new job and select each bursting query individually (Job A runs bursting query 1, Job B runs bursting query 2). If you do need to run them at the same time I would look to combine into one bursting query

    Thanks

Well, you problem is that you can only have one bursting active at a time. So if you want to deliver multiple files via bursting you should use UNION in the bursting query based on your data sets. That should do the trick.
