Using SSIS to extract data from BICC

Does anyone know of an easier way to extract data from BICC?  The default storage is UMC which is not easy to work with.  I am hoping there is a way to write a SSIS package to call and extract a BICC job/process.  Just looking for ideas on how to get data out of Oracle Cloud ERP in an automated fashion.

if your fusion env is 19c I would recommend using Object Storage as the target, rather than UCM, you'll have more options/APIs to connect. This won't trigger the BICC extract though. But I believe there are APIs for that because OAC data replicator uses them to trigger the extract and storage in OCI Object Storage. Hope this helps

also, I know you mention you want to use SSIS but ODI is now free on the Oracle Market Place... Food for thought...https://cloudmarketplace.oracle.com/marketplace/en_US/listing/59419903

I did see ODI is free and I had a quick demo by Oracle, there is just a comfort with SSIS.  I am working with the security group to let me do a POC on adding cloud storage as external storage within BICC ( I believe that is what you were suggesting).

    thank you,

    Hi Ravi,

By add cloud storage as external storage I still don't see support for non-oracle products like Amazon/Google as of Jun 2023. Is there any roadmap/direction from Oracle to add support to external storage for above vendors?
