    Hi Aman,

Thank you for the file. However, it's throwing an error while I am trying to import it Oracle Analytics Desktop.

Attaching the error file. It is something related to desktop version ? Not sure though.

Based on my dataflow, did you find any error on the approach?

    Regards,

    Saumyadip.

    Hello Saumyadip,

You will need to check the logs to figure out what exactly the issue is, below are the steps to generate the diagnostic dump:

    1. Open the command prompt and change the directory to the Oracle Analytics Desktop installation directory (for example, C:\Program Files\Oracle Analytics Desktop).
    2. Type diagnostic_dump.cmd and then provide a name for the .zip output file (for example, output.zip).
    3. Press Enter to execute the command.

You can find the diagnostic output file in your installation directory.

    Regards,

    Aman Jain

And also I am assuming that you have the latest OAD version with the DVML installed.

    Please check that as well.

    Aman Jain

    Hello Saumyadip,

Can you run the cmd as an administrator and check again as I see "access denied" in the screenshot , that might be the issue.

For more info on generating the diagnostic dump you can refer to the oracle doc:

    Hi Aman,

Even after the latest update to ODA 5.6.0 and installing DVML, the issues is not resolved. Do you have any update on this?

    Is there a work around?

    Regards,

    Saumyadip.
