Deleting a column permanently from OAC
Summary:
This may be a stupid question but I cannot figure out how to delete a column completely from a dataset once the initial load is made via xlsx. or csv.
Content (required):
Sometimes columns of data can be added or removed. When a column is removed from the csv or xlsx. file and i go to upload it in oracle, i often get an error saying oracle cannot find the column. It's looking for a column that no longer exists. How do I go into OAC and delete that column so I am able to upload my data set?
For example. Say initial dataset loaded has columns A,B,C,D data.
Then 2 weeks later Column B is no longer needed so it's removed.
Next dataload will be columns A,C,D
When you attempt to load this data, OAC errors out because it's still looking for column B which doesn't exist. How do I get OAC to stop looking for column B?
I'm wondering if this is a glitch and if Oracle is aware.
