How to assign BI Administrator role in R12?
Summary
How to assign BI Administrator role in R12?
Content
In R11 I was able to assign BI Administrator role in APM. Without this role users are not able to archive/unarchive reports and don't have access to data models. We recently upgraded to R12 and I can't figure out how to assign the BI Admin role now. Is there another way to grant users permissions to create/update data models and archive/unarchive?
Thank you in advance!

Hi Gala,
Please review following documentation, It worked for me.
https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/DocumentDisplay?_afrLoop=355644190729854&id=2238277.1&_afrWindowMode=0&_adf.ctrl-state=h0hjnkmi5_9

Hi Gala,
All the security related stuff you can manage under Security Console. Navigation for this is:
Navigator --> Tools --> Security Console
There you need to create a custom BI Admin role in case existing one in not working. you also need to run a process "Retrieve Latest LDAP Changes".
Then you need to attach this role to the user who wants to access Reports and Data models in BI.
Please run the process "Import User and Role Application Security Data" after assigning the role to the user each time.
Hope this will help.
Regards,
Puja Bharati
