Hi, Using only Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) with all the limitation of old Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) 11g (11.1.1.9.0) as part of Oracle Cloud Applications has anyone managed to use the out of the box subject areas to build some analytics on a dashboard with geographic map visualisatiions? For example, purchase order amount of money by geographic region. 

My assumption is that it is not at all possible to for example to integrate with google maps web service or something because that would require logging on the the application server to do changes in config files etc. which is something you could do on premise but obviously not allowed to do anymore on the cloud. Just wanted to make sure before ruling this out.

Hi Nathan,

If you do have Google Maps license you can use it and integrated it with OTBI. That would require to use narrative views and some javascript skills. But you can do that.
