BI PS and BI Server Sessions

Hi Guys,
We having some issue with BI Server performance. This is due to BI Server is re-initiating new sessions when BI PS Session is idle for more than 3 mins.
So there are duplicate session created on BI Server side and when these get created it fires INIT blocks which stress our source DB.
If you check the no of sessions in PS is very low (< 10) but BI Server sessions are high (> 30).
How can we reduce this? Is there a setting that we can increase so BI Server dose not create new session corresponding to BI PS session or increase the no of BI PS -> BI Server connections?
Appreciate your help!
Neal.
