ORA 01792 Error when running a report

Hi ,

I am getting  the ORA 01792---Maximum number of columns in a table or view is 1000 message when running  a report. Could you please let me know how to fix this without making any configuration changes.

    Hi,

    Call your DBA !

    ORA 01792 isn't an OBIEE error itself.

    The database raise the error and OBIEE simply display it, so if you want it to run without changing anything in your OBIEE you call your DBA and ask him to change the setting in the DB.

    Do a google for the Oracle ORA 01792 to get more info, it seems it can also be related to a bug in the DB and there seems to be a patch ...

    Can you please let us know which Report you are trying to run and what is the Database Version you are currently on.
