OBIEE122100 installation issue

Hello experts,

I have downloaded OBIEE122100 and tried to install on my laptop(8gb ram, intel corei5,400gm HDD Windows7 OS). Here are the steps I followed and got the below error.

1. Install jdk1.8.0_66 --> Completed successfully.

2. Install weblogic by extracting fmw_12.2.1.0.0_infrastructure_Disk1_1of1.zip and used the command java - jar fmw_12.2.1.0.0_infrastructure.jar --> Completed successfully

3. Extract fmw_12.2.1.0.0_bi_windows64_Disk1_1of2.zip which will extract setup_bi_platform-12.2.1.0.0_win64.exe --> Completed successfully

4. Extract fmw_12.2.1.0.0_bi_windows64_Disk1_2of2.zip which will extract setup_bi_platform-12.2.1.0.0_win64-2.zip --> Completed successfully

5. Now if I double click on setup_bi_platform-12.2.1.0.0_win64.exe, --> I am getting the error as "Could not extract the archive since it is corruptred Error code=1"

I went through the blogs and tried extracting setup_bi_platform-12.2.1.0.0_win64.exe(Which results in folder Disk1) and setup_bi_platform-12.2.1.0.0_win64-2.zip(which results in folder Disk2)

But still I ma geting the error.

Hi,

There was some issue with windows update. It was disabled and due to which the extraction was failing. After enabling it in services.msc, everything is working fine.
