Allow Developers to write SQL and preview data on the same screen

When creating an SQL Data Model, I have to write my SQL in the "Diagram" tab, close the window go into the "Data" tab to see a preview of the results. Realize the changes i need to make, go back to the "Diagram" tab adjust my SQL, back to the "Data" tab to review results again, and so on and so forth.

If this could be on one screen, where I can write my SQL, and preview results on the same screen, much like any SQL Developor or Editor tool, this back and forth from tab to tab would be eliminated and reduce clicks. This would speed up report development and data mining efforts.

This is vastly needed! Similar tools like SQL Connect by SplashBI exist and has an IDE-like interface and can connect to Oracle BIP/Cloud instances, much like other traditional SQL Developer client applications, and Oracle needs to implement something similar.

Have you tried using the screen for "Edit Definition" -- this shows you a preview of the data based on the SQL you enter when using Manual SQL.
