Connect FAW with HCM tables
We are trying to make some reports with HCM data, these data are not found in the FAW subject areas, nor are they available in the OTBI subject areas, nor through data augmentation
Is there a way to connect directly to the HCM fusion tables to be able to query using the data model?

Hi @Samantha Aguilar C ,
In such scenarios, in custom DW solutions, we create BIP reports which queries the Fusion tables. The BIP report is triggered using ETL tools like ODI. The content is downloaded in the form of a CSV report, and, then loaded into a table in the data warehouse. If you have an ETL tool in addition to FAW, this approach can be followed.
Another alternate, is to write the output of the BIP report to a server using ftp. FAW has an option of creating a SFTP connection to a server. So that can be used to connect to the same server and load the BIP output data using data augmentation. I have not tried this approach yet, so not sure of any technical issues associated with it.

Amrita.
