Logical SQL Query Wizard
To improve the experience for end users and to enable full utilisation of the Oracle Analytics self-service capabilities, it will be useful for functionality that enables business users who probably have no knowledge of logical SQL to have the possibility to access a wizard that will generate the logical SQL. With the parameters implementation for example, setting default values and setting up the data retrieval of the parameter requires knowledge of logical SQL.
To properly democratise this for all users regardless of the technical ability would be aided with the requested functionality.

One work around would be to recommend a business user the "Developer" tab. Build a table or list with the correct data and filters and then use the developer Logical SQL to get the work LSQL syntax.

It’ll definitely work but It is a bit of a long winded workaround and not a very slick user experience. The other issue is that business users will need higher privileges for developer tab access.

Agreed -- we can have a more complete experience. Note -- a DV Author should be able to use the developer options on their own workbook.
