Oracle Analytics Access to non oracle data sources using federation

in multi-cloud environments customers store data in data platforms across clouds. For example, Azure hosts a variety of systems where data is aggregated into the Azure data platform using data lake and synapse. in Oracle cloud data is aggregated into the Oracle Lakehouse.
The question then is how do you perform analytics across data stored in a multi-cloud based data lake architecture. Data governance and stewards are responsible for making data available as a product in the toolset that contain the data. e.g. in synapse and in oracle semantic tier.
Accessing data in synapse makes use of multifactor authentication with azure ad. Oracle data platform users are federated with azure ad.
Oracle synapse connector does not support access to synapse data at the user level. it requires a service account. Synapse and azure lake implement data security at the the user level. Oracle should pass the federation token for the user to the synapse connection when the user wants to access data from oracle analytics that is stored in synapse.
The same principle applies to data platforms for AWS, Google Cloud etc.
