Export to Excel is not working when using parameter

Hi All,

The DV report export to excel is working properly with normal filters. But when I use parameter the export to excel brings no data.

Although the export to csv does bring in data. Please advise if you have seen this issue and found any resolution for this issue.

The OAC version is Sep 2023

    This has been identified as a known issue which is fixed in next release of OAC.

    Greetings,

    Does this issue occur when canvas filters is bound to a parameter?

    I would suggest to create a service request for the issue to investigate it further.

    Hi @TetyanaH-Oracle , Yes the issue is presenting itself when using canvas filter bound to a parameter.

    Yes will raise an SR.

    Hi @GayathriAnand-Oracle , I have tried it in the latest Nov 2023 OAC version but it still shows the same issue. Can you please specify which version are you talking about.

    It is not correct to say the excel export returns no data when the report filter is bound by the parameter. The issue is that the export to excel returns the data that is filtered out. Meaning, what you see in the report after applying the filter is not the same as what is exported to excel.

    As advised earlier in this thread, it is a known issue. The current OAC update is Nov 2023 and the fix will be most likely in the next update. Hope this helps.

    Hi @Shantaram-Oracle , Actually the issue I saw was that the Excel export does not have any data, only the column names.

    Suppose using the parameter filter I can see 4 rows filtered out in the report, when I export to csv I can see these 4 rows exported but when exported to Excel there isn't any data except for column names.
