Pipeline: being able to REM a specific job like EPM Automate

We are currently going through the process of replacing all our EPM Automate scripts with Pipelines. The issue is we have specific integrations/business rules that are only supposed to be run during certain periods (Example: start of Budget cycle). In our EPM Automate scripts, we would REM out the line when we don't want it to run, and un-REM when we want to run the data integration/business rule. Is there a feature in Pipeline that allows you to do that with specific jobs?
