Does Smartview do drill down for OBIEE?

Hi Gurus,

I have seen videos where when  smartview is connected to Hyperion, users can drill down through reports in Excel.

Can we  do the same drill down in Smartview when connected to  OBIEE when we bring in dimension hierarchy columns from OBIEE catalog?

Unfortunately No.

Smart View on OBIEE is using BIPublisher query engine (http://server:port/analytics/jbips) just like with MAD.

Smart View with EPM (HFM, Essbase and Planning) are using Provider Services
