Approach to Create custom Subject Area using Fusion_ERP_Analytics_Tables

Hello Experts,

We are trying to create a custom subject Area from Scratch using the Fusion_ERP_Analytics_Tables in Semantic Model Extension in the FDI.

While Adding Dimension,Couldn't see the Fusion_ERP_Analytics_Tables available in the OAX_User Schema.

Can we create a custom subject area from scratch using Facts & Dimension table from the Fusion_ERP_Analytics_Tables? or we can simply modify the existing subject area to create custom subject area.

Would like to hear from the experts on the recommended approach.

@Vaigu_27 - You can customize the model by extending ready-to-use dimensions with additional attributes from another data source only. Also, it's not a best practice to extend a ready-to-use fact to alter the structure. For example, don’t add Invoice Distribution ID into the Invoice Line fact table.
