This request pertains to the issue we are facing with the email functionality in Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) reports. We are experiencing a problem where the filters applied to the report are not reflected when we email the report output directly from the User Interface (UI).

Business Impact:

Due to this issue, users receive reports that do not accurately represent the filtered data, which can lead to misinterpretation of data and potential decision-making based on inaccurate information.

Expected Enhancement:

We propose an enhancement to the OTBI report email functionality to ensure that when a report is emailed directly from the UI, all filters applied during the report run are preserved and reflected in the emailed report output.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Run an OTBI report with specific filters applied.
  2. Use the UI's email functionality to send the report output.
  3. Observe that the emailed report does not reflect the filters applied when the report was run.
