Using old skins and styles in 11.1.1.9

When upgrading to 11.1.1.9 the customization changed, are all my old custom styles and skins useless now and do I have to remake them or is there some way to still use the old ones in 11.1.1.9?

There were substantial changes and Skyros was already a much neater interface than the previous ones so it isnt a bad idea to base your custom one on Skyros.

That being said 12c is yet another story so you might think about upgrading before going for a reskinning.
