Column level security does not seem to work in OBIEE11g

We are on OBIEE 11.1.1.7

I've read blogs and 'how tos' - it  was pretty straightforward in 10G.     I have set 'No Access'  for all roles and the column is still showing and displaying data.   Supposedly fixed in 11.1.1.6 , but ??

Is there anything else that needs to be done other than the .RPD settings?

Which precise version? There were something like 11 bundle patches for .7
