extending existing domain to add OAM

I have a setup of OAS installed in a pod.
Now we have also installed OAM in same pod for SSO integration.
Need help in extending existing domain to add OAM server & clusters.
All documents are with instructions for standalone OAM, not got any doc for extending pre existing domain for OAM.
Please guide me on the steps.

Hi @Karthik-Oracle
This is a custom docker solution, so there is no "off the shelf" documentation.
We would not recommend installing in the same domain, version interoperability may not be certified or compatible. Additionally, collocation can make patching and upgrades difficult, and is not typical of an Enterprise Deployment.
If you want to pursue, you typically use the common Configuration Assistant. You may need to search for MOS notes, blogs and other documentation specific to OAM1

I have already installed OAM on existing pod referring,

After adding Installation in docker file, and new pod built..
I am trying to create clusters & servers for OAM, but not successful.

Then will it be okay to create a seperate domain for oam, under same machine?

If you have the resources, yes.

Thanks @SteveF-Oracle, I will try on separate domain.
Initially thought to build on same OAS domain, as we thought that can be minor modifications for OAS SSO integration. and later migration strategy for existing password login method ..
But seems this is not going to be simpler 😅

I'm not saying you can't, just you may encounter issues I mentioned above, and not a best practice, certainly for production environments
Integration will be the same.

Now I am able to build oam domain, along with existing bi domain on same pod.
and I should change password login mechanism of analytics, to SSO connected with OCI App
I am referring this
But not clear guidance on this page, on what to be done for SSO.
if you know any other clear steps document, please suggest..

This thread is closed with accepted answer. Always best to open a new thread for a new topic. I do understand it is related, you can always provide a reference link back, if it is applicable.
As an Oracle employee, you also have access to internal channels.and I should change password login mechanism of analytics, to SSO connected with OCI App
SSO password changes are handle in the SSO provider. In this case, OAM, so check OAM documentation. If they was not your question, then I am not clear on what you are asking.
