Request for Integration of SharePoint as an Output in Oracle BI Publisher

I would like to suggest a new feature for Oracle BI Publisher that I believe would be highly valuable for users of the tool. Currently, Oracle BI Publisher offers various output options for report distribution, such as email, FTP, and others. However, I believe that adding Microsoft SharePoint as an output option for reports would provide significant benefits, especially for companies that widely use this platform for collaboration and document management.

SharePoint is widely used by organizations to centralize documents and foster team collaboration. The ability to send reports generated by BI Publisher directly to SharePoint libraries would greatly enhance efficiency in information sharing and process automation, while offering a more complete integration of Oracle solutions into the Microsoft ecosystem, which is already adopted by many companies.

The integration with SharePoint could include the following features:

• Automatic publishing of reports to specific SharePoint libraries;
• Versioning control and permissions management directly in SharePoint;
• Scheduling of recurring report publications to SharePoint folders;
• Automatic notifications to SharePoint members when new reports are published.

This feature would increase productivity by reducing the time spent on manual report distribution and organization tasks, while also fostering more agile and structured collaboration.
