What is required attributes related to FDI Financial categories when loading manually

Within the manual upload option for Financial categories there are 5 attributes - CHART_OF_ACCOUNTS, FA_COST_CTR, GL_ACCOUNT, GL_BALANCING and FINANCIAL_CATEGORY. There no clear documentation on the definitions on these attributes.
my question : Is "FA_COST_CTR" & "GL_BALANCING" required (mandatory) ? if we do not map these two attributes what is the impact on the OOTB Key metrics & business metrics ?

Below URL has the documentation on Upload and Download Financial Category Assignments
https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/analytics/24r3/fawag/manage-uploads-and-downloads.html#GUID-6B83696B-3353-4FBE-915C-CC6A567B105E
Customers can use the functionality map multiple Segments to Chart of Accounts.
FA_COST_CTR and GL_BALANCING are not mandatory for mapping the Financial Categories.
This functionality can be used to select any segment and then map financial categories to one or more segments.
We will update our documentation to add more details.

@Krishna Prasad Kotti-Oracle can you please provide your inputs.

@Krishna Prasad Kotti-Oracle — thanks for the response. Couple of observations that i want to share and seeking your feedback -
- When we load the file with FA_COST_CTR and GL_BALANCING ( with no values), we get an error with message "FA_COST_CTR" is required. This message is confusing.
- When we remove the above two columns from file, load with CHART_OF_ACCOUNTS, GL_ACCOUNT, G and FINANCIAL_CATEGORY, the file loads successfully (used replace option), BUT the mappings does not show up on when querying via Subject areas. Do we have to any other steps for the Fin category values to show up after loading without FA_COST_CTR and GL_BALANCING ?
Please help us understand these scenarios.

Can you elaborate the requirement ?
Which segments are you trying to use for Financial Categories in FDI ?0 -
If you are not able to upload the Financial Categories for a particular segments, then please log the service request with support Team.
Do note the below:-
If you want to change the segment combination for your financial category definition, then ensure to provide the data for all chart of accounts and use the replace option. The data is completely replaced. Different segment combinations for different chart of accounts is NOT supported.

@Krishna Prasad Kotti-Oracle - thanks again,
- When we load with 5 columns with values (CHART_OF_ACCOUNTS, FA_COST_CTR, GL_ACCOUNT, GL_BALANCING and FINANCIAL_CATEGORY) - the process works. Tried with a sample of 3000 records.
- When we load with CHART_OF_ACCOUNTS, GL_ACCOUNT, and FINANCIAL_CATEGORY the process shows no error while loading but the values do not show up when querying from front-end.
Loading with #1 option will be very tedious for all combinations, we prefer option#2 to work…but it is not. We will log an SR.

@Krishna Prasad Kotti-Oracle - in your previous reply you said - "…ensure to provide the data for all chart of accounts and use the replace option…"; so if we have 4 countries (4 COA), we are required to map for all COA in one file and upload. Please confirm if that is what you intended in your reply.
