We need to drop our existing Fusion Data Intelligence instances and recreate them

Hi
Due to both our test and production instances sharing the same identity domain, we have been advised by Oracle Support that we should drop them and recreate them.
I cannot find any documentation specific to this process. Looking in OCI, it seems I would just need to terminate the instance and then create a new one? Is that correct?
The only documentation I can find is this:
I am assuming that there is no reprovisioning needed and that it is just a case of creating a new instances.
Thanks
Amanda

The document and steps you're referring to for terminating an FDI instance are indeed correct.
Reference:
Yes, following this process will result in the creation of a completely new instance using the desired target domain.

Hi @Amanda Hope,
To add to what Sumanth said, we also have a KM Article for this: (Doc ID 2970167.1) in addition to the documentation.
When you terminate an active instance, the associated Oracle Analytics Cloud and Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse instances along with data and customizations get deleted. However, the users and groups that were created in Oracle Identity Cloud Service aren't deleted during this process.
Regards,
John
