OLTP TO OLAP Data Transformation

Currently we have mechanism of replication of data from OLTP to STAGE area and followed by transformation from STAGE to OLAP for reporting and analytics uses. These tasks are achieved by PL/SQL, Pipeline Designer and Oracle Data Integrator. We observed challenges in Pipeline Designer where it configures tables, PL/SQL procedures and other related tasks. We need more effective and developer friendly Pipeline Designer to perform jobs.
- Error Messages are not showing correct information
- Pipeline UI needs major enhancements
- Developer friendly options like connecting DB and writing PL/SQL jobs inside Pipeline Designer must be allowed
- Automatic table creation, job creation, mail alerts, auto restart of jobs, displaying correct error message popups are required.
- Complete documentation on each step performed in Pipeline Designer with screen shots is required.
