Fusion Data Intelligence - Map using Zip/Postal Code

Hi team, I am creating a dataset in FDI and have a Zip/Postal Code attribute but unable to define it as "Location Details", not seeing an option. Is it possible to create a map chart using zip code in Fusion Data Intelligence?
Please guide me if I miss something.
Thanks

To create a map in Oracle Analytics or Fusion Analytics it's easy, you need a fact and an attribute as a minimum.
The fact can be any number like sales, headcount, profit and so on.
To be selected as a location and available in location details, the attribute needs to be by default:
City
County
State
Country
Continent
Region
Latitude/longitude
The reason is that Oracle Analytics offers default GEO Layers for city, country, region and so on. You can see it under "Map Layer" in DV:Now, zip codes/postal codes are NOT offered as a default GEO Layer. Therefore you have 2 options:
- Download the GEO Layer of Zip Codes for a specific country. For example, you can find the one for the USA here: https://www.oracle.com/business-analytics/data-visualization/geo-layers/
Then you need to load it in the FDI console (Ask your administrator) and you can select it in the "Map Layer" option. See above.
2. You can create a file with Zip Code, City, Country. Load it as a dataset, and join the dataset with your current dataset. See below screenshot.
You might consider voting for this idea to get it implemented for the United States:
