Hello, it's been a while.

OBIEE 12.2.1.4 has been cruising along without much interaction/update. All development is on another platform, so this is just in maintenance mode and we cannot upgrade or migrate to any other products. A few months ago, users requested a new catalog folder to house their team's analyses. I used the same settings as I have for other folders but for some reason this one folder and its contents won't play nice.

We can both run the analysis. We can both edit the analysis but cannot save it in the existing folder (overlay existing analysis). I also cannot save it to my personal folder ("My Folder")... which is weird. I should have full rights to my own area. I cannot figure out what is going on. Here are the permissions set for the folder, the analysis and the roles defined for the user and myself… the admin.

The error message is: (cleaned up the html syntax and lengthy image reference)

There was a problem retrieving the response data:

Forbidden (403).

Any ideas? I'm guessing I'll be digging in some logs shortly. Luckily they can edit the analysis and execute it so they are not dead in the water. I just have no idea where to go from here.

Thanks.

I am thinking the definition of the analysis object must be corrupt.

I recreated the 2 reports affected and the new report appears to be behaving normally (able to edit and save or save to the test directory or My Folders). I'll write back here on Monday with the outcome once the user has a chance to test on his own.

User confirmed recreation solved the problem. It is behaving normally again for him.

I'm not sure how to indicate the status change in this new Communities environment.
