Working with Pivot Tables in OBIEE 11.1.1.7.140715

In 10G, we could turn off recalculations while making multiple changes to a pivot table, then recalculate to see the results of the all the changes at once.  In 11G, the pivot table recalculates after every individual edit, resulting in an enormous amount of wasted time.  I know that I can toggle off the display of results, but I still have to wait for the recalculation to run between edits, or cancel the request after each edit.   Is this a system configuration setting that can be changed?

    Don't think there is any global setting to turn off. But if you omit results the recalculation shouldn't happen

    There are actually several version where this didn't stop recalcs from running but no clue as of which version that was fixed. .7 was a long time ago..

    Thanks, Christian.   We'll be upgrading to .9 soon, and hopefully that will change this situation.
