RPD file gets moved into a "purged" folder under Repository folder. Why does this happen?

In OBIEE 11.1.1.7.0, I've observed that when i execute "startManagedWeblogic", my RPD get moved from repository folder to "Purged" folder under Repository folder.

I wanted to know why repository get moved into purged folder? and how/where to disable this purged option?
