I have installed ODI 11.1.1.9.0 on obiee 11.1.1.9.0, before installing BI APPS i have been trying to run rcu, but it is failing immediately.

Here is the message;

-bash-3.2$ ./rcu -silent -createRepository -connectString dsidb1201:1521:emrepus -dbUser SYS -dbRole SYSDBA  -schemaPrefix DEV -component DW -component BIACOMP -component ODI -f </u02/oraclebi/software/pw.txt

Picked up _JAVA_OPTIONS: -Djava.io.tmpdir=/u02/oraclebi/tmp

Processing command line ....

Repository Creation Utility - Checking Prerequisites

Checking Global Prerequisites

-bash-3.2$

can anyone help me on this....

    Did you tried executing RCU in GUI Mode.

    I have installed couple of times in GUI mode but not tried in Silent model.

    Please check the log files for errors. They are located in <rcuHome>/rcu/log directory.

    I would start rcu.log.

    Thanks for the reply. Have figured out the issue.

    Moved on.

    Now have an error on the final step of configuring Bi apps.

    [CONFIG]:Configuring Essbase for Oracle Financial Analytics.

    [CONFIG] SUCCESS:Configuring Essbase for Oracle Financial Analytics.

    Configuration:BI Configuration failed

    [CONFIG] Failed.

    [ACTION]: BI Configuration

    The configuration of Oracle Business Intelligence Shiphome,Oracle Business Intelligence Applications Shiphome failed.

    outputFile:/u01/app/oraInventory/logs/installProfile2016-12-08_04-27-28PM.log

    in writeProfile method..

    can someone suggest how to go ahead?
